TODAY’S DARE

Find a marriage mentor—someone who is a strong Christian and who will be honest and loving with you. If you feel that counseling is needed, then take the first step to set up an appointment. During this process, ask God to direct your decisions and discernment.

This one was easy. I already have a marriage mentor. Vanessa has been an asset to me. There have been days I have wanted to give up. Days I called her giving her all the reasons why I should leave and why I was right to do so. Vanessa would bring me back to God's word. She is a living witness to the miracles God can perform in a marriage. Her honesty with me, fervent prayers - have all been pivotal to my continuance. I am thankful to God, He gave me such a strong woman of God to remind me of His will and promises. Thankful for her encouragement to pray God's word and pray in the Spirit.
