Day 23 - July 7, 2009
Day 23: Love always protects
[Love] always protects.
—1 Corinthians 13:7 NIV
TODAY’S DARE
Remove anything that is hindering your relationship, any addiction or influence that’s stealing your affections and turning your heart away from your spouse.
Throughout my marriage I have usually stayed obsessed with Steve. I was addicted to checking his online accounts and history, but I gave that up already. I use to talk on the phone a lot, I don't anymore. The only thing turning my affections from my spouse is my spouse. My family and friends are all supportive. None of them talk about my husband negatively to me, even though they know more details than I have posted here.
Last evening Steve told me he was ready to start living out of his car. He told me what I am doing doesn't mean anything to him because those things weren't the issues in our marriage. He told me I can not change with him in my life...
I began praying for more specifically yesterday morning and afternoon. I believe things are being shaken up. Our finances are suffering, our kids are acting out (which is not not normal, they have usually get compliments for being well behaved), things are breaking (no one is breaking them) for instance the computer Steve was using stopped working yesterday, my breaks are gone on the van and Steve's are bad too. In fact most of Steve's stuff has just stopped working lately.
Talk about spiritual warfare...
