Day 2: Love is kind

Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

TODAY’S DARE

In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness.

Love numbs pain when acting in kindness. For this dare I took my children up to his job to visit him for lunch. He had a class after work which meant he had to work from 6am to 10:30pm. I also made the blankets he had been using to sleep on floor thicker by adding more comforters with the pillows he likes and late night dinner on a bed tray.

Another discovery about love would be love is kind even when someone hurts or makes a person angry. A person can push past it to be kind inspite of it all.
